Date and time
Location
Portfolio Center, Room 311
623 S Wabash Ave Chicago, IL 60605Description
Everyone talks about networking and how it’s important, but nobody tells you how to do it. We’ll discuss how to talk to professionals and how to gain a mentor, which is a huge part of networking. Virtual networking can be just as important as face-to-face, so you’ll want to attend this workshop especially if you have a LinkedIn account but you don't really know what to do with it! Mark J. Carter will be presenting.
Carter started 14 years ago creating, teaching and training business networking and referral systems both online and offline. He is the creator of Idea Climbing™, and presents workshops on mentoring and marketing. He is also active with MPI and Chicago improv productions.
